This week we had a school production we did Oliver with a twist!

Luckily I was in it! I was a strawberry seller called Beatrice I was in 2 scenes with 3 lines! It’s not a lot but I think I played the part pretty well. I was also in a dance. The song my class and I danced to was stay crafty! We performed Oliver with a twist 4 times with LOTS of practices.

Here is what some friends thought of it!

The lights were super cool and it made it look really good, and the people were perfect for there role!

this is why you should read a book!

Let’s be so for real right now we all know you have that one book that you always say you are going to read, but all it does is collect dust. What I think is, that you should pick up that book and read it right now. Even if its just 10 pages a day at least your reading! Reading can make you really smart not just really smart like young Sheldon smart. Reading also has thousandth upon thousandth of benefit.

There are also SO many genres of books like a graphic novel and romance and, wait I am going to stop myself there only because I could go on for ever.

Today I am going to be telling you about my favorite sport. It is… NETBALL. Netball is definitely my favorite sport because it is the best. I know that is not technically an answer, but it is the best!

Well to play netball everyone has things that they are super good at, but they also have things they are not as good at.

well some people might think that is bad but, I find that a good learning opportunity. that basically means in netball you are always learning something new, unlike other sports.

Anyways I am going to tell you what is happening at the moment I am starting a lip gloss business! With Darcy, Summer, Charlie and Easter. Darcy, Summer, Charlie and I are making lip glosses and what not; Easter is to design the logo and that stuff.

Well doing this I have learnt a lot of teamwork and patience. I am super excited to get out there and start selling the stuff!

This year for Matariki We had the amazing opportunity to make a poster all about the 9 sisters. Also know as Matariki! I learnt that Waitī and Waitā are twins!  did you know that?

Also I wonder why you can only see that Matariki stars on a certain night?

this week we had winter sports tryouts for school, I was trying out for netball! I played 3 games, The first game I played was Goal Keep. I intercepted about 2 times! It was not my best game. But in my second game I was, goal attack and I got 2 out of my 3 shots. I was very impressed with myself! In the 3rd game I was goal attack again, and I think I got 3 out of my 5 shots. I think I did pretty good!

What is your favorite winter sport?

This past term we were lucky to be able to do tech! I was so lucky to be put in the best class, with the best teacher! I did… food tech. It was absolutely the best of the best. We made pizza, pancakes, waffles, cake in a mug and that was only a couple things that we did. I think that it was a great learning opportunity, and every week I got to bring home a nice treat. Next term I will be learning how to build a robot, or something like that!
